NICE are aware that a spam email is being sent to members of the public regarding cancer test results. Please be assured that this email is not from NICE and they are currently investigating its origin. It is advised that people who have received the email - the subject line of which is important blood analysis result - to delete it without opening it and not to click on any links. The matter is being taken very seriously and has been reported to the police

Jane has been a member of staff at the surgery for 17 years, she started her career at the surgery as a Part time filing clerk whilst her children were at school, she was later promoted to receptionist, taking on a full time role. Some years later she was promoted to Reception/Office manager before being promoted to the role of Practice Manager in May 2013.


Jane heads up the patient services function within our practice management team, and manages our reception and administration functions.

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.
